For Soundfloating, you don't need to do anything at all. To get the most out of your session, you can prepare for the following points so that you don't have to think about anything on the day of your appointment.
Arrive on time so you can start your session without rushing.
Feel free to bring your swimwear. It’s not required; nudity is also allowed. You have the Soundfloating space all to yourself.
Rinse yourself well before and after the session. You will find the shower right next to the floating bath. Towels are provided for you.
During Soundfloating, you wear waterproof earphones to listen to the music. This also protects your ears when they are underwater.
In the beginning, it may feel strange to relax your neck. Use our Float Halo as extra support for your head. You can remove it at any time during the session.
Occasionally change the position of your arms to relieve tension in your shoulders and neck. Also, try to float your hands beside your head.
You are floating in saltwater. Avoid touching your eyes with your hands during the session, as it will sting. If it happens anyway, no worries: there is fresh water on the edge of the floating bath to spray in your eyes and a dry cloth.
Salt water may sting a bit on freshly shaved skin. This is not a problem and will go away within five minutes.
Sometimes, salt crystals may form on your stomach. This is normal and part of floating in magnesium sulfate. Just move some water over your stomach with your hands to dissolve the crystals.

Experience the Benefits of Regular Floating
Be aware that after the first session, you may sometimes experience more pain or fatigue. This is completely normal and relates to the fact that Soundfloating makes you aware of the pain or fatigue present in your body. After a few sessions, you will notice that these (repressed) tensions are gradually released, allowing you to feel more at ease.
